When it comes to product dimensions, Arken Optics provides recommendations for the appropriate ring height based on the specific firearm platform. For Remington 700 footprints, low rings (0.92") are recommended, while for the Ruger RPR, medium rings (1.26") are suggested. Savage 110, Tikka, and Sako platforms also recommend low rings (0.92"), while the AR platform requires either an ARP Rigid Mount (1.50") or medium rings (1.26").

For the new EP5 with a 56mm objective, Arken Optics recommends medium rings (1.26") for Remington 700 and clones with bull barrels and 20 MOA rails. However, for anything with AR-style shrouds, a scope rings height calculator should be used to determine the appropriate height.

Arken Optics' Halo Series billet precision scope rings are CNC machined from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum with zero tolerances for errors in any conditions. These rings are machined in pairs for ultimate accuracy and consistency, and they feature Torx-style socket screws along with enhanced recoil lugs, resulting in amazing stability and secure mounting. Arken Optics recommends a maximum torque setting of 18 in/lb for ring screws and 30 in/lbs for base screws, unless the optic manufacturer's specification is higher.

The Halo scope rings are available in 30mm or 34mm diameters and only work with Picatinny spec mounts, not Weaver mounts. These rings are t-serialized, vibratory tumbled, hand-bead blasted, and finished off with a Type III hard coat anodize for added protection against scratches and blemishing.
