The Monstrum Pro Series scope mounts are crafted from 7075 aerospace aluminum, providing greater tensile strength, shear strength, and Brinell hardness than typical 6061 aluminum scope mounts. These mounts are treated with a Type-III Hard Anodized Finish for added protection against scratches and blemishing.

In comparison, most consumer-grade scope rings are made from 6061 aluminum. Monstrum Pro Series are made from 7075 aluminum, a higher-grade aluminum alloy commonly used in the aerospace industry. 7075 is lightweight like the 6061 aluminum, yet significantly stronger.
